Idol Chartwatch, November 26: Blake Hits the Charts and Moreby Donna Reynolds -- 11/26/2007

Aretha Franklin’s Jewels in the Crown: Duets with the Queen, featuring Fantasia on “Put You Up on Game,” enters the Billboard 200 at #54 and the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at #7. Now! That's What I Call Music 26, featuring Daughtry’s “Over You,” is #4 on the Billboard 200, #1 on the Compilation chart and #4 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. NOW Party Hits!, featuring Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” is #60 on the Billboard 200, #5 on the Compilation chart and #39 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Unlike the rest of the “Now” collection, this one is only available as a download, thus its rather inauspicious debut. Next week we’ll be watching to see where Jordin Sparks’ CD enters the charts. In the meantime, here’s how the rest of the Idol-related artists fared:
This Week's Idols' Singles Charts This week, the first single from Blake Lewis’ upcoming album, Audio Day Dream Idol holiday singles are beginning to show up on the charts as well. Carrie Underwood’s “Do You Hear What I Hear” from Hear Something Country: Christmas Jordin Sparks' "Tattoo" moves up the 20 of the Hot 100, coming in at #16. “Tattoo” is #43 on the Hot 100 Airplay list, #13 on the Pop 100, #11 on the Pop 100 Airplay list, #11 on Hot Digital Tracks, #12 on Hot Digital Songs and #26 on the Adult Top 40. Carrie's "So Small" tops the country chart this week and is #23 on the Hot 100, #23 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart, #50 on the Pop 100, #31 on Hot Digital Tracks and #36 on Hot Digital Tracks. "Before He Cheats" is #47 on the Hot 100, #38 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart and #8 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Daughtry's "Over You" is #19 on the Hot 100, #21 on the Hot 100 Airplay chart, #14 on the Pop 100, #9 on the Pop 100 Airplay list, #3 on the Adult Top 40, #28 on the Adult Contemporary chart, #28 on Hot Digital Tracks and #32 Hot Digital Songs charts. Daughtry's "Home" is #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart and #29 on the Hot 100 Airplay. "Crashed" is #24 on the Mainstream Rock chart. Elliott's "Wait for You" is #32 on the Hot 100 Airplay, #5 on the Adult Contemporary chart and #29 on the Dance Club chart. Bucky Covington's "It's Good to be Us" is #30 on the Hot Country Singles list and Josh Gracin's, "We Weren't Crazy" is #43. Kellie Pickler’s “Things That Never Cross a Man’s Mind” is #33 on the Country chart. Fantasia's "When I See You" is #17 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles chart and #9 on the R&B Adult airplay list. "Only One U" is #57 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles chart and #33 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Adult Airplay listing. Her duet with Aretha Franklin, "Put You Up on Game," is #53 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles chart and #11 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Adult Airplay listing. Mandisa's single, "Only the World," is #11 on this week's Singles chart and Kimberley Locke's "Band of Gold" is #13 on the Adult Contemporary chart. And that's it for Chartwatch this week!
