Justin Guarini and Nicole Richie: Reality Romance

It looks like Justin Guarini, the runner-up of the first season of American Idol, and Nicole Richie, one of the stars of The Simple Life, are both officially off the market. The couple recently registered for a June 12, 2004, wedding.

Although both Justin and Nicole’s publicists have yet to comment on the couple’s relationship, the two have set up a wedding registry through Weddingchannel.com.

On Weddingchannel.com, Justin and Nicole have registered at several stores: Williams-Sonoma, Neiman Marcus, Dean and Deluca, Restoration Hardware, and REI. The registries at Williams Sonoma, Neiman Marcus, and Restoration Hardware are password-protected, but you can check out what the couple requested at Dean and Deluca and REI. Looks like Justin and Nicole would love to start their new life together with some camping equipment and a new spice rack.

Weddingchannel.com also offers a place where well-wishers can sign a guest book to offer their congratulations to the couple. Unfortunately, most of the people who signed the guest book seem to have done the exact opposite, leaving rude and nasty messages that I hope Justin and Nicole never read. Like them or not, Justin and Nicole are real people and shouldn’t have to come to their wedding website to read hateful messages.

Justin Guarini and Nicole Richie were first seen together in public at the premier of The Simple Life. Justin’s self-titled album is available (see link below). Nicole is currently filming the second season of The Simple Life with her longtime friend Paris Hilton.
