For its final audition show, American Idol came to St. Louis, Missouri – near David’s neck of the woods. How did the Midwesterners do? Who might have the versatility to make it in Hollywood and beyond? Could Lauren Gray (right) be the next Carrie Underwood? Let’s see what David has to say! 
The American Idol audition round came to an end on a high note in this episode as several singers stood out in St. Louis. Who has a chance to win it all and who is going to be eaten up by the constant pressure as the Hollywood rounds begin next week? The American Idol audition rounds are finally coming to an end, but first we have to make a stop in St. Louis. You’ll wish we didn’t. Even the supposedly touching personal stories in this episode fall flat. Are there any stars in Missouri, or does everyone bring misery? 
It’s the final week of auditions for American Idol Season 11! Today, Joseph looks at the Portland contestants and wonders if any of them have a shot to go far or if these audition episodes are just a waste of time before Hollywood. We heard a lot of back stories, like the one from Romeo Diahn (right), but does that translate to a successful contestant? 
American Idol went to Oregon for the first time, giving us our sixth audition show of the season. But did they give us a potential winner? Could either Brittany or Britnee (both at right) succeed in Hollywood and beyond? David has a thumbs-up for one of them – read on to find out which! 
Some people have to work hard to perfect their talent. Some people are just born with it. In Portland, American Idol finds singers who need some polishing and singers who are already shining like diamonds. Which is Jermaine Jones (right)? 
American Idol went to Galveston for its fifth audition show. Did we see our next winner there? Heck, did we see somebody who can make it past Hollywood? David takes a look at those who received the golden ticket and tells us if he thinks any of them really has what it takes. Our fourth stop for American Idol auditions took us to the mountains of Aspen, Colorado, where we saw and heard about some Hollywood-bound singers. Who had the best voices? Who had the saddest back stories? And how will these two aspects merge together to give us contestants who can make it beyond Hollywood? David has his thoughts, including why there is no way Angie Zeiderman (right) should even have made it past the judges. 
After two American Idol audition cities that paled in comparison to the previous week, will Houston bring some light back into these early rounds? Joseph seems to think so! Sure, there was some nonsense, but there were also a couple of contestants who might be able to Never Go Home and win it all! Find out who – and why Linda Williams (right) wasn’t one of them! 
There are many problems when American Idol visits Houston, but also a handful of potential stars. If only we were allowed to see more of them. Baylie Brown (right) auditioned five years ago, but her young age may have put her at a disadvantage. Can she hold it together this time? 
We went to Colorado in this episode of American Idol and visited beautiful Aspen – Wait a minute, they went to Aspen?! Why? That’s kind of a random place to hold an audition. Was there a discount on plane tickets? Steven Tyler called it “God’s paintbrush,” which is actually pretty coincidental since that’s also the name he gave his junk. In any case, this week's first installment of The NGH Report looks at which contestants stood out and which joke audition made Joseph squeal with glee! 
American Idol heads north to check out the singers in Aspen, Colorado. Some will probably blame their bad auditions on the altitude. Who’s surprisingly good? Who’s unsurprisingly awful? And what’s up with the guy pictured at right? 
Our third stop for auditions took us to San Diego, where American Idol handed out over 50 tickets to Hollywood. We only got to see a small fraction of those, and David thinks even a smaller fraction from that group will make it to the semi-finals. Is Ashley Robles (right) in that group? Could she be the only one from the whole hour? It’s time for predictions from the San Diego auditions!

We’re midway through the American Idol audition episodes! Ha ha – yeah, right. We’re actually on the U.S.S. Midway for auditions in San Diego. If you’re looking for oddballs, you’ll find them here. Fortunately, there’s also talent and lots of potential. Who is the possible Idol at right – or, more specifically, who is her very famous father?

Pittsburgh, the City of Steel, turns out a group of solid singers. There’s the next Justin Bieber, a mobile DJ, and a guy we’re pretty sure was high (right). Does any of them have what it takes to be the next American Idol? 
We opened the new season of American Idol with auditions in Savannah! The judges and Ryan are often more encouraging in this initial stage than perhaps they should be. Indeed, of the people who make it to Hollywood, only a few will go beyond to the semi-finals and finals. Based on the few seconds we see, David will once again predict whose journeys will end in Hollywood and who might just compete for our votes in the finals! 
American Idol 11 has begun! That means it’s time once again for Joseph to start looking at the auditioners and evaluating their chances. How does he rank those we saw? Who doesn’t he ever want to see again? Who is Never Going Home? And in which group does Ashlee (right) fall? Read on to find out!
